The University library has a trial subscription to Scopus until March 31, 2016. Scopus is a multidisciplinary database, and contains many relevant resources for the social and behavioral sciences. Next to these resources, Scopus offers a number of tools to analyze citations and developments within the scientific literature.
Scopus can be accessed within the UvA domain through www.scopus.com. Even though Scopus is quite user-friendly and has tutorials of it own, I’d like to recommend the libguide from our colleagues from the University of Utrecht to help you get started with Scopus;
If you’re happy with this trial and would like us to continue the subscription, we would very much like to know. You can contact Gerard Kohler is this is the case.
